Here it is, Bam!

…and you say, “Goddamn, this is a dope jam…”

It’s about that time for another Robin Deacon plug.

LIVE: ROBIN DEACON

Private View, Wednesday 9th March, 6

Exhibition runs from 9th March – 2nd April, Mon to Sat, 12 – 6pm

Tablet Gallery, The Tabernacle, Powis Square, London W11 2AY

Live by Robin Deacon is an attempt to invert the debate regarding the potential altering effect of television on the mind, with a series of attempts by a viewer to ‘alter television’. The project aims to question traditional ideas of a spectators passivity, with Robin contriving a series of appearances on, and interventions in the broadcast media, exploring the relationship between the body and voice in a live context, and in the context of ‘being on TV.’ Robin will also set about remixing and changing the emphasis of television programmes at the point of broadcast through a series of live edits, creating and revealing alternative narratives and perspectives. The show consists of a video/television installation that will be regularly updated over the period of the exhibition.
